Jason Hofferle has been an IT professional since 1997. His experience includes enterprise desktop engineering for a Fortune 500 financial institution and Active Directory design and support for local governments. He is currently a federal employee with US Department of Defense, where he is a technical lead on Windows 7 and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. “Force Multiplication through IT Automation” comes from the military, where a force multiplier is an attribute such as technology or experience that allows a small force to accomplish the same results of a force many times larger. In information technology, automation tools such as PowerShell allow an individual IT professional to be just as effective as a large staff performing tasks manually.
